Setup guide

WebShield is a setting on each device, not an app. Pick a device to see the steps. Each takes about two minutes.

• Android Turn on Private DNS in Android settings to filter every app on Wi-Fi and mobile data. Works on Android 9 and later.
• iPhone & Mac Install the WebShield configuration profile to turn on encrypted DNS filtering on iPhone, iPad and macOS.
• Chrome Use Chrome's secure DNS setting to filter browsing with WebShield on desktop and Android.
• Firefox Turn on DNS over HTTPS in Firefox and point it at your WebShield address.
• Windows Use Windows 11's built-in DNS over HTTPS to filter every app on your PC with WebShield.
• Linux Configure systemd-resolved to send encrypted DNS-over-TLS queries to WebShield.
