Set up WebShield on Linux

Configure systemd-resolved to send encrypted DNS-over-TLS queries to WebShield.

Replace your-id with your profile's ID. You'll find it, ready to copy, in the Setup tab of the console. No account yet? Start a 7-day free trial.

  1. Add these lines to /etc/systemd/resolved.conf under [Resolve].
    DNSOverTLS=yes DNS=66.241.125.98#your-id.webshield.in DNS=2a09:8280:1::b7:fdd6:0#your-id.webshield.in
  2. Restart the resolver.
    sudo systemctl restart systemd-resolved
